Introductory sessions

On top of the courses above, we count on a couple of pre-packed introductory sessions to present the possibilities of science communication.

• Scicomm in a nutshell – a short presentation about the history of science communication and its importance within impactful research. It’s ideal for universities and research centres looking to provide an overview of the potential of communication. Available in both 30 and 60 minutes sessions.
• A day in the life of a science communicator – this talk covers the different types of science communication, as well as the very different tasks and activities for different profiles (journalists, influencers, press officers…). The format fits training sessions for PhD researchers and early career students who’re wondering about the worlds outside academia. Available in both 30 and 60 minutes sessions.
